How to nominate someone for the BSA's National Duty to God Award god service awards for adults

The God and Service Award for Adults THE AWARD The God and Service Award is a national recognition awarded by churches and national youth agencies cooperating with Programs of Religious Activities with Youth (P.R.A.Y.). It is given to acknowledge.

The awards are not BSA awards and are presented by religious organizations for long tenure of service to Scouting, the religion, and the community. With one exception all of these awards require a nomination. Self-nomination is not allowed. Only one Adult Religious Award square knot is worn regardless of how many awards have been received.

May 14, 2012 · God and Service Adult Award I have already discussed the God and Country awards for youth, but there is one additional award, named the God and Service Award that can be earned by Adults. It can be utilized by most of the same churches that award the Youth God and Country series of awards.

The adult award package contains a medal that can be worn around the neck, a personalized color certificate suitable for framing and the following also contain a matching lapel pin: God and Service, Good Shepherd, Lamb, Shofar and Building Faith in Youth. There is an approval process for adult nominations.
